Our former PhD student Yoonseob Kim has been selected to receive the prestigious Rackham Distinguished Dissertation Award. Dr. Kim continues to his research at MIT. Congratulations, Dr. Kim!

Our PhD students Ji-Young Kim, Yoonseob Kim, Douglas Montjoy, Terry Shyu, Siu on Tung, and Jihyeon Yeom presented their posters at the 10th EGS (Engineering Graduate Symposium) at the University of Michigan. And, our PhD student Ahmet Emre participated to the symposium as a session chair and judge.

OUR ALUMNI CHRISTINE ANDRES WAS SELECTED IN THE 42ND CLASS OF AN AAAS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FELLOW AND WILL BE WORKING IN 2015 AND 2016 IN US CONGRESS IN WASHINGTON DC
Christine Andres, former PhD student, was selected in the 42nd class of an AAAS Science and Technology Fellow and will be working in 2015 and 2016 in US Congress in Washington DC. Her area of specialization (besides LBL nanocomposites) will be Diplomacy, Security, and Development area.

YICHUN RECEIVED TRAVEL GRANT FROM RACKHAM GRADUATE SCHOOL
Yichun Wang, PhD candidate, received travel grant from Rackham Graduate School for BMES 2015 in October in Tampa, FL. She will also be attending to the AICHE in Salt Lake city in November. Congratulations!
